The Office

We went here for some bites after a 3 hour boat ride, and got drinks as well.

For lunch, got the sea bass with vegetables. It was pretty good. For drinks, got a pina colada.

The vibe of the restaurant was fairly nice since it was right in front of the beach (and you could easily bar hop to other eateries beside it). Would come back to it, and also would check out the other eateries around.

Crania

This place serves as a restaurant, and also a venue for deep and playa house music. Would definitely come back for both, it the thing about the reservation system is that if you cancel, you have to pay $15 USD per person.

As a music venue, it has burning mana vibes (and people can actually stay and camp there. We saw David Holme as a DJ there).

In terms of the food, we got the beef tartare, calamari and pork belly. Pork belly was really good (although not sure if it was the cause of my stomach being upset the next day).

For drinks, kept it safe and did red bull vodka (they had rebuke!), and whisky soda. Remember, always ask no ice (phonetically it is seen-yellow in Spanish).

Metate

Went to this restaurant before a night out in San Lucas Cabo (it was 5 minute Uber ride from main downtown).

The vibe was actually really chill (very tropical).

For drinks, got a boost and vodka (boost is one version of red bull in Mexico). Then got a whisky neat (Johnnie Walker black).

For appetizers, tried a dip that was made from grasshoppers (only had a taste). It wasn’t bad, but likely not to get it again. Also got the fish tacos, which was really good.

For the main course, got the Michoacano, which is a pork Chamorro. It was pretty good. Was a low carb option (since it had vegetables).

The only complaint I had about this restaurant is that the main course came really really slow (almost 40 minutes). (They did say their kitchen broke down as the reason).

One other thing is they had a tequila drink that had a scorpion in it, and mezcal that had a snake in it (see the pictures below).
