Bona Fide

We went here for brunch on the last day of the festival (recommended by Milly). Ordered a Serbian dish (which is also served by neighboring countries like Croatia, and got something called pljeskavice. It tastes sort of like a burger, but more plain. Don’t think I would get it again. I did get a latte, and it was actually pretty good (I think they added a little bit of sugar on it). The orange sauce pictured below was good with bread. Also tried the grilled chicken from a friend, and it tasted good (I would get that dish).

One side note is that they have limited alcohol (couldn’t make a mai tai, and no Prosecco).

Loca Villa

Got afternoon drinks here with some friends we met at the festival. Service was really shitty, but the Pina Colada was good.

Hotel Borovnik

We stopped by here after venturing around the Tisno bridge.

Got the chicken appetizer dish, and a mimosa (they didn’t know what it was, so they put wayyyy too much orange juice). The chicken appetizer was really good, and the white sauce on it was pretty interesting. Also got a latte to go, and it was decent. I would come back to this place again.

Wabi Sabi

This restaurant is on site at the Garden Tisno. Got to say that the service is super slow (from food delivery to getting the bill).

In terms of food, the prawn linguini was ok (sauce was a bit sour for my taste). Also, ordered a Prosecco, and it was too flat (and didn’t taste right.

On a later day got the lemon juice. It was freshly squeezed, but also too sour.

Carmen

Went to this place for brunch the second day at defected. Ordered the lasagna with white wine. It’s were excellent. The view was also excellent.

Update (8/8/2021): got scrambled eggs with ham plus a latte. All pretty good (also the toast and butter were good… apparently butter in Europe is different).

Update (8/9/2021): got an omelette. Also good, but would get the two dishes above over the omelette.
