17 Restaurant and Bar

First place we stopped by in our Porto trip (since it was on the 2nd highest floor of our hotel, Hotel Dom Henrique Downtown.

We mainly stopped by here to catch the sunset. View was ok, but drinks were good (at least mine was)…

Friend had an old fashion (which he doesn’t recommend), and I got a pisco sour without egg whites. They also served peanuts.

Although view as just ok (they have an outside, it doesn’t face the sunset), would still come back here for drinks, especially if staying at the hotel.

Cafe Del Mar

2nd time I’ve been here, and always doesn’t disappoint with the sunset and vibe. Music is chill, people here are chill, and drinks are great.

Went here mainly for the sunset, but also got a Pina colada and a mojito. The Pina colada was great, but I would say the mojito could have been better.

Royal Kona Hotel Bar (Don the Beachcomber)

I was told this was an excellent place to watch a sunset while drinking a pina colada. I would have to say this is very true (although our sunset had some clouds covering it).

I ordered a banana lava flow and a mango lava flow (a lava flow is basically a flavored pina colada). Both were good, but the mango one was less sweet, so I thought it tasted the best.

The food at this place is meh. The coconut breaded shrimp was not that good. The poke chips were ok.
