Cafe Del Mar

2nd time I’ve been here, and always doesn’t disappoint with the sunset and vibe. Music is chill, people here are chill, and drinks are great.

Went here mainly for the sunset, but also got a Pina colada and a mojito. The Pina colada was great, but I would say the mojito could have been better.

Il Palazzo

We went to this “a la carte” restaurant in our all inclusive resort at Grand Palladium. It is supposed to be the best a la carte restaurant on the resort. It did not disappoint!

For drinks, they kept refilling our white wine glasses, but also was doubling down on the strawberry mojito.

For appetizers, we got the tomato with buffalo cheese, as well as the prosciutto. Both great options.

For mains, I ended up getting the lasagna. It was good, but a friend got the seafood linguini, and part of me kinda wanted that.

For desert, finished off the a cannelloni. It was a bit harder than I was used to, but still good.

Portofino

We went to this “a la carte” restaurant in the all inclusive hotel in Grand Palladium (had to book a reservation 2 days before).

Started off with some appetizers. We got the beef tar tar and the Tiradito (fish dish below). All great choices. For drinks, got cava.

For the main course, got the pork belly, which I thought was really good. Also tried the Tournado beef, which was super tender and I would also get.

For desert, had the chocolate cafe with sorbet. It was alright. Would probably try something else next time.

Freddo Freddo

We checked out this place because I was craving an affogoto.

The barista was great. She gave us free samples upon eneterinf, and she understood English (and what an affogoto was). The flavor I ended up getting was a hazelnut gelato. Would come back here (and my stomach didn’t get upset after this).

Prep’ La Crepe

Started off the third day of Madrid having coffee and lunch at this place.

So this was the first time I had a savory crepe, and it was delicious. Got a simple one (ham y cheddar). It was good, but would get the one my friend got next time (his had mushrooms, cheese, bacon and egg). Also got a latte. Would recommend this place.

Restaurante Gloria Bendita Madrid

Stopped by this place for brunch for our second day in Spain.

Again, they didn’t know what a mimosa was (I should literally walk around with orange juice so I can add it to Cava, which literally is champagne), so I ordered an aperol spritz.

For the meal, we ordered a mixed salad, Jaman croquette and garlic shrimp. Gotta say, the garlic shrimp was awesome. Would order everything again, but still calling out the shrimp.

Gymage Terrace

We stopped by the rooftop bar in Madrid. Music was fire. (Basically big room progressive house).

Drinks were ordered through a QR code (needed to order them one by one). Basically got an Aperol spriz e and a Sangria). Prices I think were a bit high for Spain, but really like the wine of the place. Would go back.
