Araxi

This place was definitely worth it.

I had already eaten before coming here, so I ended ordering just an appetizer (the lobster sushi roll, which was also good). However, I should’ve gotten the main course that had the pork and scallops (serving size was not big, and it tasted great).

Marta

Checked out this Italian in hopes of eating some pasta. However, there was no pasta. Still a good place to eat.

We got the scallops for appetizers. Great choice. For my main, got the chicken. It was cooked perfectly (not dry at all). Also got the potatoes on the side.

For wine, I got something called the montecheubbsgd… (it was a black cherry type flavor). Thought it was interestingly light (but Ben said it’s because it doesn’t taste acidic.

Marbl

So we tried this place on Boxing Day since it was the one of the only places open for dinner. And man, I definitely am glad we went here.

We ended up ordering the Marbl share platter, which included a 48oz steak, lamb, scallops, shrimps, potatoes, broccoli with cheese, and fries. Everything tasted great (and I didn’t even mind the lamb). Drink we’re also great (but not sure what I ordered).

La Pepita

We ate dinner at this tapas place.

There were two dishes I really liked. The others I didn’t really care for or like (perhaps I was spoiled in the first restaurant we tried in Barcelona, Vinitas).

The two dishes I really liked were the scallops and shrimp dishes pictured below. The other dishes were artichoke, fros gras and steak, steak tar tar, and steak with mushrooms (first picture). I also got a mojito, which was not bad

Seoul Country Korean Restaurant

So this restaurant was rated 2.8 on Yelp, which definitely caught my attention. However, it was the only Asian available restaurant close by (and Cyrene really wanted to try it out). In the end, I would give this place 3.5.

The interesting thing about this place is that it served both hot pot and K BBQ. So we got one of each. We got one seafood hot pot (sauce was spicy, but good, and the seafood in it was crabs, squid, scallops, tofu, and vegetables). Not sure if was worth the $50 price tag, but Cyrene really liked it. For the K BBQ we got the bulgogi (which I enjoyed more than the seafood).

Also, I guess it’s worth mentioning we got hot Sake to accompany the meal.
