Versa

This is an indoor rooftop / restaurant.

We stopped by this place after work for drinks and a quick / light dinner. Got a version of an Aperol spritz, except it was also strawberry infused. I liked it.

For food for their ribs and pork bao bun. Both were great.

Only thing I’d change for next time is for us to try and sit in the outside rooftop portion, and not in the dining area (they ran out of space in the outside portion).

Slanted Door

This restaurant is great if you know what to order.

From what is pictured below, the crab noodles, the beef dish and the chicken spring rolls were great. I was not really a fan of the ribs or mussels.

In terms of drinks, the first one I ordered want great. The whisky sour though was terrific.

Lolinda

Great place for drinks and tapas (not. Heap, but not super expensive).

The plates to nightlight (although everything pictured below was great): the bone marrow, yam fries, ceviche (shrimp and fish), a tar tar dish (name?) a sweet pudding dish (name?), and the assorted meat plate (name?, except for perhaps the blood sausage. The ribs and regular sausage were great).

For drinks, got an old fashioned and one other drink (not sure of the name).

A.Y.C.E. Buffet

This buffet is located in the Palms, which is convenient if you’re going to be checking out Kaos (or coming from there).

The buffet was only $27, but you definitely get what you pay for. A lot of the food seemed like they’ve been out for a while (ie dry because of being under the lamp heaters for so long). The only two things I like were the coconut shrimp, and the corn. The ribs were terrible, and also the Korean short ribs.

Ribs Factory

We came here to get some lunch.

Overall, they had great ribs, and most of the sauces were delicious.

We ended up getting the mix-rib combo, where they give you all 5 flavors, and it is good for two people.

From the picture of the food below and the menu, the order of the ribs follow the menu description. All but the Mexican sauces were great (perhaps it’s because of the green thing on top of it). the two top choices is the Smokey Original and the Sweet Honey.

Lazy Dog

Not my first time here, but this time around, I came here with my team.

Although this restaurant does not have as quite extensive menu compared to BJs, they do still have a full bar and I’m a fan of every dish I’ve had so far.

This time around, I ordered the sticky ribs and umami fried (fyi there is a similar order that has BBQ sauce. I didn’t get that one since I think the calorie difference was around 1000! And I still enjoyed the sticky ribs).

Update 4/6/2019: Ordered the Wok Teriyaki with shrimp. It tasted good, but I would probably still go with the ribs if you’re not trying to avoid meat. Also, got the wok calamari as an appetizer. Definitely I tell an app to order again. For dessert, got the banana pudding and s’mores cakes. I would get the s’mores cake again.

Paradise Beach Grille

Overall, good food, but very strong drinks.

For a drink, I got a mango martini. It basically tasted like vodka (I’m conflicted if I would get it again. The hint of mango was good, but was really strong).

We got a clam appetizer, and the best part was dipping the bread with the mashed potatoes that came with it.

For the main course, I got the Hawaiian half rack ribs. The garlic fries were a bit too garlicky for me, but the ribs and coleslaw were good.
