Went here for our last dinner in Doha.
We weren’t that hungry so got the mixed grill, which had lamb, kebabs (lamb), and chicken wings. (This restaurant did not have any beef). The serving size was great for two people sharing a small meal. Would come back here.
We went here for drinks at sunset, but ended up being pleasantly surprised on several levels.
First, this is located in the 2nd building in Doha, and is on the 61st floor that has an excellent view of the Lusail area of Doha, and also a good sunset view.
For drinks, got an Aperol Spritz and a double shot of Canadian Clib (which their shot is close to an American one at 40ml, and at 13.50 USD). Both great.
For food got the Lobster roll. Also really good.
After visiting a mall in Dubai, we decided to check out this restaurant for drinks. It is conveniently located in a Marriott hotel (and you get a 20% discount for being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member).
For drinks got an Aperol Spritz and a Glenfidech 12 neat.
For appetizers, got the lollipop chicken. Would probably not get that again.
Overall like the vibe and the drinks, so would come back.
Started off the morning by getting breakfast at this restaurant in Souq Waqif.
We ordered the breakfast special, which comes with a variety of dishes (which you’re supposed to eat with some sort of flat bread). Some of the food it comes with includes humans, fried cheese, an omelet of some sort, falafels. and egg mixed with some sort of
I really liked everything (did feel in different to the bean and sour cream/cheese thing though.
Also ordered a latte which tasted better than usual (probably because of the cream), and it was fairly strong.
Went to this place as our first dinner in Qatar, in the Katara Cultural Village.
This was an Armenian and Lebanese restaurant, and all the food was excellent.
For starters we got the Fatayer Spinach and the Lebanese Kebbe (filled with beef). Both really great
For our main, got the Mixed Grill, which had: one skewer each of Awsal (boneless chicken), Havov, Lamb cutlets with two skewers of kafta meat (this is basically a lamb and beef kebab)
