Yara

We went to this restaurant for a late lunch after visiting the Jumeirah Mosque.

Got a latte, and garlic butter shrimp for an appetizer.

For mains, ended up doing their take on Italian (as you may notice the cuisine I put for this restaurant is Arabic) did the truffle penne pasta with chicken, and a chicken pizza. Overall, food was meh (wasn’t bad but would choose another place to eat). I will say the layout of the restaurant was nice.

Meda

Stopped by here for a late lunch. They had all sorts of cuisine, but mainly stuck with Italian.

For drinks got one of their vodka based drinks from their all day happy hour menu. I actually enjoyed it.

For lunch got the croquettes, pepperoni pizza (which was different because it had no tomato sauce, and had potatoes underneath the pepperoni), and the pesto pasta. All great choices (croquettes were a bit too salty though). Would come back again to try the other drinks and food.

Heritage Grand

We went here for dinner to satisfy a pizza craving.

From a friend who went to Tulum, apparently the. One of the restaurant is like every restaurant in Tulum.

For drinks, ordered an Aperol spritz.

For food, ordered a pepperoni and sausage Neapolitan pizza and a penne with shrimp pasta. Both great choices. (FYI we were going to order calamari, but yelp mentioned not to order it!).

Would come back to this place in a heart beat.

Rosemary’s Midtown

Grabbed Saturday brunch with some friends from New York at this place.

Got an espresso martini without any sweetener plus an Aperol spritz. Both were great.

For food, got the pesto pasta, the pappardelle verde, potatoes, French toast, and mushroom sausage pizza. All of it was great, and would get them again.

This place is a chain with locations through New York. This location gets Hampton people going to it apparently.

Note: didn’t take any photos for some reason, so all the below pics are from yelp.

Bada Bing Sports Bar and Grill

We grabbed food here after the Bills game.

And yea, we definitely had some Buffalo Wings (in Buffalo). Can’t beat that.

We also had the pepperoni pizza and a mushroom and pepper pizza. Will say the latter was better than the former.

For drinks, got a toki highball and a makers on the rocks.

Conclusion is that I would definitely come back if I find myself in downtown Buffalo.

Prince St Pizza

As the name suggests, this pizza is located on Prince St at the lower east side.

They are famous for their square Pizzas. There was a line when we got there, but it went fairly quickly. Probably partly because they have whole pepperoni pizzas already premade.

I would come back, but I will say had a little bit of heart burn after (probably because of the pepperoni).

Rosa’s Pizza

Went here for a quick lunch as it is close to the New York Apple office.

Just got a pepperoni slice. It tasted great, and it didn’t give me any food poisoning. So would go back again.

The Dearborn

We went to the place for brunch in Chicago (although didn’t really have too many brunch options).

I got the pizza, which was thin crust (so super opposite of an actual Chicago deep dish pizza). The one brunch thing I did get was a mimosa though! I would say I would eat here again, but would likely choose another place for brunch if I were trying to get actual brunch.

Gino’s East

Went here for my first deep dish pizza in Chicago.

Got a Prosecco to start and a Caesar salad.

For pizza, got the meat lovers option and a custom one (meatballs and green peppers). We got the smaller size for each, which was a good amount for 3 people.

I would order all the above again (the cheesiness reminded me of pizza but), but thinking the meatballs kinda made my stomach flush everything out (so would try something else).

Joe’s Pizza

In our continued hunt to keep eating awesome pizza in New York, we stopped by this place shortly after going to Scarr’s pizza.

Got two pizza’s at this place. One was cheese, and the other pepperoni. Would stop by here again if I were in the area.
