Ichiran (Midtown New York)

Went to this place for dinner in ktown in New York city. This place is fairly similar to the one in Tokyo (it’s one we went to after clubbing at Womb in Japan). I will say concept is very similar (ie single booths for each person, and you pre-pay).

I ordered an Asahi beer, the original Raman, and extra pork (probably didn’t need the extra pork based on my hunger level).

Tara Rose

Great brunch spot for a boozy brunch in New York.

This place has the standard brunch items (ie scrambled eggs, bacon, jalapeƱo poppers, fried chicken. Of course also got a mimosa, plus an Irish coffee, and some other drinks (haha, wish I could remember).

The William

Went to this place for some fancy drinks in New York City.

The one thing about this place is that it’s small, so getting a reservation ahead of time is recommended. We were, however, able to put our name down (for 3, and sitting at the bar), and waited for 1.5 hours (but waited at Park Avenue Tavern, which was close by).

For drinks, got something called Bad Love (very similar to an old fashion), and also tried the Tuna tar tar. The drink was good. The tuna though was not super fresh.
