Bona Fide

We went here for brunch on the last day of the festival (recommended by Milly). Ordered a Serbian dish (which is also served by neighboring countries like Croatia, and got something called pljeskavice. It tastes sort of like a burger, but more plain. Don’t think I would get it again. I did get a latte, and it was actually pretty good (I think they added a little bit of sugar on it). The orange sauce pictured below was good with bread. Also tried the grilled chicken from a friend, and it tasted good (I would get that dish).

One side note is that they have limited alcohol (couldn’t make a mai tai, and no Prosecco).

BB Club

First restaurant we went to at Hvar. We grabbed brunch here, and I have to say it was my best meal so far.

For food, got the linguini and added chicken. It came with a while mozzarella ball, and the sauce was really good.

For the drink, got a strawberry mojito (since they were out of mimosas). It was ok (would’ve really had a better experience with the mimosa lol).

Update (8/5/2021): we came back here for brunch at the last day in Hvar (thought it was that good). This time got brunch (scrambled eggs with bacon). Also got a mimosa (orange juice was hand made). Both were fantastic.

Eureka!

Came here with my team for a team lunch (not on Apple’s dime), and overall, not sure if I would come back.

I ordered the grilled chicken tacos, with a side of Mac cheese balls (basically Mac and cheese surrounded by a deep fried layer). I have to say I wasn’t a fan of the tacos (the taco shell was not super tasty… very “corny”).

For the drink, I ordered the Eureka! punch, which from the ingredient list had a lot going on (over 10 things in it). It was sweet, but too the point of too sweet even for me.
