Abusan

We stopped by this teppanyaki place for dinner in the Gion region in Tokyo. Great find.

For drinks, got several highballs (obviously).

For food, got Negi-yaki with Japanese beef, and Fried noodles with salt and garlic. Both really great. (A friend got the mushroom and corn vegetables. Definitely recommend).

(Ps clothes will smell like food for a while unless you wash them).

House of Prime Rib

For around $50, you get a really good complete meal with steak.

I got the house cut (cooked medium). The sauce with the steak was really good. The steak also comes with salad to start, and the waiter tosses it in front of you. For the sides, I got the corn and loaded baked potato. Very great compliments.

We paired the steaks with red wine (I believe it was a Cab). Great pairing.

Overall, need to go back to this place.

The Sarap Shop (SF Soma Street Food)

Tried this Filipino food truck, and I would come here again if I felt like eating Adobo.

I ordered the “I love my adob(r)o”. It was adobo with pork belly (not a lot of fat, which is what I prefer), with rice and a side of vegetables (the sweet corn and fried okra were a good accent to the main meal).

And I also did try the mimosa. I’ve gotta say, it’s worth the $5.
