EP Bar

This bar is a record themed bar

Looks like they are a high ball themed based bar also. Didn’t get one thing time, but next time I will!

For drinks go their version of an old fashioned called the EP bar old fashioned. Difference is that’s has coffee liqueur and absinthe.

Skull and Crown

After dinner we went here for some tiki based cocktails.

Also, found it interesting they referenced the SF bar Smugglers cove (I think they said their first drink on the menu is from or inspired from there).

Vibe was a mix between a speak easy and a tiki themed ocean bar.

For drinks got the Koloa Colada (tasted pretty much like a pina colada but less thick which was great… would definitely get it again).

They also had food! Got the ahi nachos to snack on.

Yohei Sushi

First (real) meal of the trip!

The location we went to was near the downtown area.

Overall, place was great. I would come back, and all the food I would get again (of course there may be other Japanese places with a more upscale vibe. The vibe in this restaurant was like an every day Japanese restaurant).

To drink we got a bottle of Sake.

For food, had these dishes to share: udon with chicken, o toro nigiri, kani nigiri, salmon nigiri, shrimp tempura, o toro roll, and assorted sashimi platter.

Scarr’s Pizza

This is apparently a popular pizza place in china town. Fortunately when we got there the line wasn’t too long.

They’re known I think for their thick square pizza’s. I got a pepperoni square pizza, but also a regular cheese pizza. Both were great.

What was also good about this place is that there is a bar to hang out at the back of the restaurant. That enhanced the vibe for me.

Forgtmenot

Checked out this bar in Chinatown (near the lower east side) to meet up with a friend and their friend from BM. Definitely had a dive bar feel.

Food was ok, but probably would not go out of my way to go there again unless I was in the area. For drinks, mainly just got black label on the rocks.
