Blue Bottle (Hudson Yard)

Same great taste as the SF locations. I got a mocha, of course. In addition, I tried the caramel chocolate chip cookie, and it is by far the best cookie I have ever had. In the center was basically a hard layer of chocolate. But combined with the Carmel, the sweetness was just right (somehow it was not overly sweet). Need to check if this cookie exists in the SF location.

Cafe Vergnano

After arriving at Old Town San Diego, we headed to this place for a caffeine boost.

This place had a really interesting coffee menu, with most of choices for lattes and mochas. I ended U.K. getting the iced hazelnut latte. Too be honest, I would get one of the mochas next time, but I still enjoyed the latte.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Tried a Mocha at this place. And I have to say, it tasted better than Starbucks (apparently there is also two shots of espresso, although I didn’t exactly feel it). The taste is almost like a chocolate milk.

Tim Hortons, Barcelona

Found Timmy’s while walking around L’Eixample area in Barcelona.

I ordered 3 Timbits and a small iced Capp. The time it’s tasted exactly the same as Canada, but best of all, they came in a tiny box!!!

The iced cappuccino itself was a lot larger than expected (I ordered a small, and basically got a medium). The only thing I will say is that I asked for a shot of espresso in the iced capp, and I did not taste any espresso in it. Still great non the less.

Fleca & Cafe

Started off my morning with a (hot) mocha. This place served it in an interesting way, where it is layered and in a cup I usually expect a cold drink to be in.

I also got this small croissant filled with Nutella (no picture). It was insanely good!

South Beach Cafe

Went here to work since they close at 9pm.

I actually got a breakfast item even though it was dinner. I got the ham, cheese, and egg focaccia. Overall, delicious and worth the price.

I also got the mimosa, which I believe had orange juice that was freshly squeezed. It was one of the best mimosa’s I’ve had!

The only complaint about this place is that it has flies. They can be distracting when trying to work.

The Grove

Came here for brunch / to work. Great cafe atmosphere for working. I would definitely come back.

For the drink, I of course got a mimosa. It was alright for $8 (spark SF is still better for $5).

The main dish I had was the breakfast special. I ordered it with ham instead of bacon, and they delivered it to me with bacon. I didn’t complain, but I think I would have enjoyed it more with ham (still good though).

Réveille Coffee Co.

Although this is a cafe, I ended up ordering a mimosa. Haha. I have to say though, it isn’t as good as Spark SF, and the price is $9 a glass. Perhaps it’s pricey because the juice is freshly squeezed.

The cookie is pretty good, but it’s also not cheap (at $4.50).

I will say the music is pretty good. It’s house music (really good for working).
