Sole Seafood & Grill

Last dinner in Dublin, and got this recommendation from our Guinness Storehouse tour guide.

For food, got the scallops (would get them again), the burrata (I might not get this one again since the tomato it came with was dried tomatoes, instead of what I was expecting which was fresh tomatoes), and the seafood platter (yes yes and yes would obviously get this one again), with a side of fries. Also one of the bread they have is was soda bread which is popular in Ireland (since it is made out of Guinness). not my first choice, but when in Ireland would get it, and it was good dipping into the butter sauce of the lobster.

For drinks, got prosecco, whisky sour and pisco sour. All but the pisco sour were good (Limon has wayyy better pisco sours).

Overall great experience and vibe. Would recommend this place.

Started off the morning by getting breakfast at this restaurant in Souq Waqif.

We ordered the breakfast special, which comes with a variety of dishes (which you’re supposed to eat with some sort of flat bread). Some of the food it comes with includes humans, fried cheese, an omelet of some sort, falafels. and egg mixed with some sort of

I really liked everything (did feel in different to the bean and sour cream/cheese thing though.

Also ordered a latte which tasted better than usual (probably because of the cream), and it was fairly strong.

Great Italian restaurant. Although a sit down restaurant, it had really chill waiters and staff.

Started off the an espresso martini. Man was it the best espresso martini I’ve ever had! Got a lemon drop for my second drink.

For apps, we got bread and patatas bravas. Both great.

For my mains, had the French onion soup and the seafood linguini. Both excellent choices.
