House of Prime Rib

For around $50, you get a really good complete meal with steak.

I got the house cut (cooked medium). The sauce with the steak was really good. The steak also comes with salad to start, and the waiter tosses it in front of you. For the sides, I got the corn and loaded baked potato. Very great compliments.

We paired the steaks with red wine (I believe it was a Cab). Great pairing.

Overall, need to go back to this place.

Udon Time

This is a great place to go to if you want some fast Udon.

First, for appetizers, the tempura is great. And special to this place is the crab tempura. It is a MUST to get. I also got the spicy tuna onigiri. Also great.

For the udon, I believe I got the Sanuki, and no complaints.

Cheesecake Factory

I’ve been here many times, but here’s the first post about it (and will likely get updated later).

This time around I got a “calorie-wise” dish, which was the “chicken pot pie”. Obviously, as you can see, it’s not a really chicken pot pie. However, it was pretty light, which is what I wanted.

Usually when I’m here I get the chicken marsala. The portion size is wayyy to large, so I usually eat half of it. (fyi, the San Jose sauce is better than the Palo Alto version).

And of course, As the name implies, I usually get a cheesecake. My go to is the chocolate chip cookie dough.

Gordon Ramsay Burger

Second time I came here, it was a Friday during lent. So, I ended up getting the lobster shrimp burger. Definitely an awesome choice. The truffle Parmesan fries were good, but a bit too rich with all the other of I was having.

I also paired it with a drink (can’t quite remember the name, but similar to a White Russian).

Hong Kong Cafe

A great dim sum place in The Palazzo hotel.

Everything pictured below, except the soup filled dumplings, were really good. And price wise, not bad.

Wynn Buffet

Definitely a buffet to revisit. The king crab legs are one of the main features (not pictured). Also, they do have bottomless mimosas for an additional $22.

The buffet has food from all sorts of ethnicities (Japanese, Chinese/dim sum, American, Italian). Also, the desserts were good, notably the ice cream (and a coupe of other deserts that I can’t remember at the time of this writing).

Not pictured below are the crab legs. Definitely a must to get.
